Project Overview

The Project Overview is your command center for managing Delphi studies in Durvey. Get real-time insights into participation, trigger project actions, and monitor study progress—all from one dashboard.

What You See​

Project Cockpit​

The Actions panel adapts to your project's current phase, showing only relevant controls:

Setup Phase:

  • Preview Survey: Test the complete participant experience before launch
  • Launch Project: Make your survey live and start collecting responses

Active Phases (Pre-Phase/Main Phase):

  • Preview Survey: View survey as participants see it
  • Start Main Phase: Transition from pre-phase to main survey (when enabled)
  • Stop Project: End data collection and close the survey

Completion Phase:

  • Open Analysis: Jump directly to comprehensive results and analytics

Real-Time Statistics​

Four key metrics update live as participants engage:

  • Total Participants: Everyone added to your panel
  • Participants Completed: Finished surveys ready for analysis
  • Participants In Progress: Currently working through the survey
  • Survey Completion Rate: Percentage of invited participants who finished

Participant Progress Chart​

Visual doughnut chart breaking down your panel by status:

  • Not Started (gray)
  • In Progress (yellow)
  • Completed (green)
  • Invited but not started (blue)

Hover over segments to see exact counts.

Recent Activity Feed​

Live stream of project events:

  • Participant completions
  • New participants added
  • Survey launches and stops
  • Phase transitions
  • Campaign sends

Each activity shows timestamp and type icon for quick scanning.

Project Phase System​

Durvey projects flow through distinct phases, each with specific permissions and available actions:

Setup Phase​

  • Edit: Full survey editor access (pages, theses, dimensions)
  • Configure: All project settings modifiable
  • Test: Preview functionality enabled
  • Launch: Can activate project when ready

Pre-Phase (Optional)​

  • Collect: Gather initial responses without real-time feedback
  • Monitor: Track participant progress
  • Transition: Can switch to Main Phase manually or automatically

Main Phase​

  • Real-Time: Participants see aggregated results as they respond
  • Active: Full data collection with live feedback
  • Close: Can stop project to end collection

Completion Phase​

  • Analyze: Full access to Results & Analysis tools
  • Export: Download data and reports
  • Archive: Project preserved for future reference

Status Indicators​

Color-coded chips show current phase at a glance:

  • 🟡 Setup: Yellow - Survey being prepared
  • 🔵 Pre-Phase: Blue - Initial data collection
  • 🟢 Main Phase: Green - Active with real-time feedback
  • 🟣 Completed: Purple - Data collection finished

Quick Actions​

While most navigation happens via the sidebar, the overview provides fast access to common workflows:

  • Jump to Survey Editor when setup isn't complete
  • Access Participants to check panel composition
  • Open Email Campaigns to send reminders
  • Launch Results & Analysis when data is ready

Trial & Subscription Indicators​

Trial Projects show days remaining:

  • Green indicator when 7+ days left
  • Yellow warning at 3-7 days
  • Red urgent notice under 3 days
  • Expiration banner at 0 days

Subscription Projects display:

  • Active subscription status
  • Renewal date
  • Upgrade options (if applicable)

Payment Status: If payment is pending, a prominent banner blocks project access with a direct link to complete payment.

Admin Features​

Platform administrators see additional controls:

Template Toggle:

  • Mark projects as templates for others to clone
  • Templated projects appear in project creation flow
  • Template status visible via bookmark icon

Mobile Responsive Design​

The overview adapts seamlessly to smaller screens:

  • Statistics stack vertically
  • Chart resizes for mobile viewing
  • Action buttons expand to full width
  • Activity feed scrolls independently
